“ I was very interested in finding a “responsible” breeder because of a previous experience with purchasing a puppy. Although I know a lot more about what that truly means now after working with Melissa, at the time, that meant that I wanted a breeder who had a few good quality litters per year and one who did genetic testing to screen for problems common to the breed.
Melissa was a thoughtful communicator from the very beginning, and we had meaningful conversations about my puppy and our mutual expectations. She answered any and all questions I had, and I had a lot of questions because I was new to this breed. I could tell she genuinely cared for her dogs as family members, and I felt I would receive a lot of ongoing support once I purchased one of her dogs. I recently purchased a Mini Bernadoodle from Melissa at Liberty Pine Doodles.  I also chose to have my puppy go thru their training process, and I am so glad I did.  I have had other dogs, and training them was the hardest thing for me.  So when I received my puppy and she already knew to go to the door and ring the bell when she needed to go outside, was a life saver!  It took all the worry and stress off of having my puppy have multiple accidents in my house.  My puppy also already knew different commands such as sit and down.  Within a day, my daughter had already taught her how to shake.  She is extremely smart.
I was a little skeptical about purchasing a puppy that was over 10 hours away and having it shipped.  So many scammers these days!  The shipment was nothing short of professional.  Melissa would text and email me pictures and videos of my puppy, and let me know how she was doing with her training.  I received a happy, healthy, smart, well socialized, lovable, and clearly on her way with all of her training puppy!
I couldn’t be happier.  It was a great experience.
