Lets talk about the steps to take when you’re ready to proceed with adopting your new puppy…

Click the link below to shop our Amazon Storefront! We added all the things we have tried and loved, and that we believe make puppy’s transition into his/her new home much easier.

  1. Pick a puppy! Or if you aren’t sure which one you’re in love with, call or text us and we will help you decide which one is the best fit for you. Most of our customers are in a different state than us so we are very familiar with placing people with their puppy match by gathering information from you and doing FaceTime meet and greets.

  2. Fill out and send in the Puppy Application with all of your info and which puppy/puppies you’re interested in. This helps us learn more about you and your family, and have all of your information on record.

  3. Send in the deposit or full payment for puppy. You can send the payment via bank check, wire transfer, money order, Venmo, or PyaPal.

  4. Read over all of the information here on our website, as most of your questions will be answered here. If not, send us an email, text, and give us a call and we will get those answered for you.

  5. It’s almost time for puppy to be welcomed into your life. Now is the time to order all the puppy essentials such as; food, vitamins, bowls, crates, toys, leashes, collars, bed, ect. We have an Amazon storefront that we have already complied a list of all the things we feel will help make yours and puppy’s life easier transitioning into your home. Click the link below to be automatically re-directed to our Puppy Must Haves list on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/shop/taylormbray_/list/2T18PQM9MMZTY?ref_=aipsflist_aipsftaylormbray_

  6. Now it’s time for you to figure out how you’re getting puppy to you. We have several different options available for transport, you can find out more information on those by going to the bottom of this page and reading over our transport options.

  7. Prepare your home for new puppy. Yes I know you’ve already bought all the things and you have a pile of dog toys in the corner of your living room, but now you’ll want to puppy proof the house. By doing this you’re going to make sure there is no exposed wires or electrical outlets, unfortunately we can’t teach puppy everything. Make sure you start getting into a routine of watching where you step (if you’re getting a younger puppy), and try to teach the kiddos ahead of time how to properly interact with and hold puppy.

  8. We’re almost done, I swear. Now were going to make sure we’ve asked all the important questions about what to do/not to do in your first 24 hours of puppy being in your home.

  9. If you are welcoming puppy into a home with kids, we need to make sure that we’ve gone over all the rules and responsibilities that are going to come along with owning a new puppy. Such as what foods puppy can/can not eat, not to leave any food or drinks unattended that puppy can reach, and to never leave the front or back door open without puppy being under adult supervision or on a leash.

  10. Okay, now that you’ve learned all the do’s and don’ts, its time for the fun part…Welcoming your new puppy into your home and life!

Delivery and Transport

If your are unable to come and pick puppy up in person we do have some options for delivery for you to choose from.

  1. Your first option is using one of our two private ground transport teams that are fully licensed and insured, that can bring puppy right to your door. The door-to-door schedule is typically every 2-4 weeks, but can vary. The fee for this option is anywhere from $450 up to $1,200, depending upon where you are in the U.S.

  2. If puppy is small enough, we can use a flight nanny who will fly in cabin with your puppy and meet you at your nearest airport. The fee for this is $500 plus the flight and hotel.

  3. You are also more than welcome to fly into our nearest airport, either Lexington K.Y or St. Louis M.O, and we will meet you at the airport, or you can drive to us and pick up puppy.
